THE BRIT AWARDS 2003 - THE SEARCH FOR THE RESULTS

LONDON - February 16th, 2004. The nominations for this year's Brit Awards are in. But who will the winners be? In the public eye who's more popular. Busted or The Darkness? Beyonce or Christina?

According to the searches conducted by British Internet users, the night would go to Justin Timberlake (3 award wins), Busted (2 awards) and The Darkness (2 awards). Justin was the clear winner of the International Male Solo Artist award, receiving 56% of the search requests in this category. Not surprisingly, Dido won the British Female Solo Artist, with a staggering 77% of the requests. The Darkness pipped Dido to the post for best British Album, with 38% of the requests, compared to Dido's 29%. But our favourite glam rock lads, came second place to the boys from Busted in two categories - British Breakthrough Artist (Busted: 62%; The Darkness: 30%) and British Group (Busted: 45%; The Darkness: 22%).
