ESPOTTING WINS DEALS WITH LYCOS IN SCANDINAVIA

ESPOTTING TO CONTINUE PROVIDING PAY PER CLICK LISTINGS TO SPRAY (SWEDEN) AND JUBII (DENMARK)

Stockholm, May 2005. Espotting Media, a leading European paid listings provider, today announces that it has renewed its agreement with 2 major sites in Scandinavia - Spray in Sweden and Jubii in Denmark, both of which are owned by Lycos.

'The renewal of these deals is testimony to the strength of Espotting's offering to its distribution partners - both in terms of our product and our service levels' commented Seb Bishop, Chief Marketing Officer of Espotting/FindWhat.com Group.

In both deals, Espotting will continue to provide its Pay Per Click listings on the websites' content pages. Espotting's 'Content Solutions' product places keyword-driven advertiser listings next to relevant content. Espotting's product is unique in the market:

  • Unlike other content or contextual advertising programs, Espotting has both an automated and a human review process. Espotting's dedicated 'Content Editors' work closely with partners, such as Lycos, to select the keywords that trigger the advertisements which appear alongside the website's content. The keywords best suited to each content page are selected, ensuring only the most relevant advertisements are displayed.
  • Listings are fully integrated and customised to reflect the look and feel of the partner brand. Espotting has a dedicated design team who create unique implementations for each distribution partner.
  • Espotting are experts in content advertising, being the first paid listings provider to offer a Content Solutions product back in April 2001.

'As pioneers of content advertising, Espotting's experience and credibility in the market made them our partner of choice' commented Angie Lopez, Joint Managing Director, Lycos. 'By utilising Espotting's Pay Per Click listings on our content pages, we continue to provide Spray and Jubii users with relevant information at their finger-tips, enhancing their user experience.'

In January 2005, Spray generated over 112 million page impressions from over 3 million unique users and Jubii saw 116 million page impressions from 2.6 million unique users (Gallup Redmeasure).
