MIVA Wins Best of Show in Industry Self Promotion and Three District Gold ADDYs for Advertising ExcellenceMIVA Tops Local Entrants for Most Awards for the Florida and Caribbean Region Fort Myers, Fla. - May 8, 2006 - MIVA, Inc., (NASDAQ: MIVA), a leading independent Performance Marketing Network, today announced the Company won a total of four ADDY® Awards - three Gold ADDYs and one silver ADDY - in the 4th District American Advertising Federation (AAF) Competition that includes the 24 advertising clubs in the state of Florida and the Caribbean. Additionally, MIVA won a "Best of Show, or Charlie Award" in the Industry Self Promotion Category, for "The MIVA 2006 Sales Promotion and e-Planner." The ADDY Awards (www.addycompetition.com) are the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide. The 2006 4th District ADDY competition was one of the largest in the country, with 1,982 entries from local. Of the 167 District gold ADDY winners, judges honored 14 entries, including MIVA's 2006 Sales Promotion Planner, with the additional distinction of "Best of Show."
