Thanks, Bill, now I'm sure the gov't is tracking my Internet usage for the
    next month... ;)

That is amazing. And the site's not even in Miva Merchant! I guess they know
us Miva people well, though, eh - marketing directly to us - not that I'd do
    anything like that!!

The miva potheads from the uk probably did it. ;) Can't remember their url
but found a miva aquarium site linked from another marijuana-related site.
Not the smartest thing to do.....

Ohhhh... Is there a special list I should know about for Miva Potheads
          [mph]?

          ;)

          The domain is currently owned by ;
          Registrant:
          Internet Realty Investments Exchange, Inc.
          65 Duke Street
Grand Turkish Delight, Grand Turk Island B.W.I.
          TC

          Registrar: NAMESDIRECT
          Domain Name: MIVAMODULES.COM
          Created on: 27-JUL-03
          Expires on: 27-JUL-05
          Last Updated on: 19-JUN-04

But wasn't this an active domain owned by a list member at one time?
Good thing Miva issued all those cease and desist requests to help free
up their domains for other legitimate uses ...

              Look, it's Robert Ganjaseed :)

This kind of stuff happens all the time. I lost a domain once,
              tyrinth.org, that had about a thousand unique hits a day. I wasn't
selling anything, it had just been online long enough to be spread out
over a lot of other sites.

It's likely that mivamodules.com was owned by a miva developer at some
point in time. When it came available, someone from ganjaseedbank.com
saw it on the "expired domains for today" list, checked whatever traffic
records are out there, and picked it up and is using it as a high
traffic portal to the ganjaseedbank.com site.

My tyrinth.org was a traffic portal to a ****-web-cam site,
unfortunately... would have been better to be a traffic portal to the
              seedbank instead.

Basically, any high traffic domain that expires will get snatched up
right away and probably used as a portal like this one.

Am I the only one that can read white text on black background?

I see all these sites with white on black and the only way I can read the
text is to swipe it with my cursor so it changes color.

Is this a sign of growing old?

Yah. Peace. 'Know what you're sayin' tho.

                      LOL

So, is Miva gonna write them a letter saying "hand over your domain now"? :)

Perhaps it will cost them some "seed" money. <G>
