Dear All,

OK....I know what the Problem is, but I do not have an answer.

Symptom: All Products and Categories are assigned to an Availability
Group. When you go to Log In it gives an Error of:

Miva Merchant has encountered a fatal error and is unable to continue.
The following information may assist you in determining the cause of the
error:

Error Code: MER-DTB-00022
Description: Category 'after_5' not found
(../../common/oui_system.mvi:53)




The original error was 'stickers'. If I de-assigned 'stickers' from the
Availability Group everything else worked fine.

I Packed files, assigned, de-assigned, re-assigned 'stickers' back to
the Availability Group. I deleted the Category 'stickers' and tried it
again. That is when I got the error above.

It appears the Error is being given because it seems to think it cannot
find the FIRST Category on the list. 'stickers' was the first Category now
' after_5' is the first Category. If I de-assign 'after_5' from the
Availability Group, everything starts working.

Darren - is this some obscure OUI bug? We are trying to launch the site
Monday or Tuesday and this is really causing a problem.

Any suggestions?

When I assign Categories and Products to an Availability Group a
non-assigned Customer cannot see them. But, when I assign the Customer to
the Availability Group the Customer still cannot see the Categories or
Products.

Any known bugs or issues anyone knows of?

I've seen this happen when the first category is the database is assigned to
an availability. Some 3rd party modules will add the Category to the
product screen url. This normally works fine, UNLESS they didn't get there
from a category. When this happens, Categories.d.code reference the first
category in the database (which is NOT the category the product is in) and
therefore generates the error.
