    Miva 4.22 - Verisign PF-Pro Automatic Capture ??



    Hello,

    We're using Verisign Payflow Pro to process transactions in our
    shopping cart.

    We have selected "Automatic Capture"

    My question: Are the funds actually transferred into our account from
    the customer's account at the time of the transaction, or are we
    required to log in to our admin area and process the order?

    If you have your Payment Module set to capture funds, then no you do not
    need to process the orders to receive funding.

    You should however, make it a habit to reconcile your charges vs. orders
    on a regular basis.

      Miva 4.22 - Verisign PF-Pro Automatic Capture ??



      You want it set to Sale, this will do what you want. It automatically
      approves it in Versign.

      It sounds like you have it set to PreAuth. The card is authorized for
      that amount, but not charged. You need to manually approve the orders.

      Also, just because the card is charged doesn't mean you have the money.
      The transaction has to settle which takes a few days. Each card and
      processor is different. I think Verisign is 2 days on Visa and MC's. 3-4
      on Amex.
