    OT: Apache Mod rewrite rules

    I'd have the host investigate why the images
    aren't serving in the first place rather than
    trying to fix it with a rewrite. The rewrite
    looks fine assuming the condition is satisfied
    but maybe the condition isn't being satisfied.

      OT: Outlook Express Problem

      Go to Tools -> Options -> Read tab -> Fonts button at the bottom, and see
      what the fonts are set to. Change them to the size you prefer. Hopefully
      that's it.

      This has been driving me crazy for a few days, so I thought I'd check to see
      if anyone else has had this problem or has suggestions!!

      I went to the eye doctor the other day and had my pupils dilated. When I
      came home, I couldn't see anything on the computer screen. So I changed my
      font size in IE to Largest and changed font size in Outlook Express to
      Largest. I simply used the View menu in each program. I can't remember
      for sure, but I THINK I switched the font size back to medium in both
      programs before shutting down that night.

      The next day, after restarting my computer, I noticed that incoming messages
      in OE still had the largest font size. When composing messages, however, it
      is normal. I tried to switch the font size using the View menu (like I did
      in the first place), but the Font Size option in the View menu is now grayed
      out no matter what I do. I went to Tools > Options > Read > Fonts and chose
      "medium" from the dropdown box there, but this "medium" is still larger than
      it should be. (For example, it looks like point size 12 when it should look
      like point size 10)

      I searched google and found something about setting font size to smallest in
      both IE and in Outlook Express, restarting, then setting it back, but that
      didn't help.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks,
      Amanda

            I think I've seen that before. Simply set it to "smaller" instead of
            "medium" and close Outlook Express. Then launch IE and change your font
            size there. As a backup - also make sure you didn't change your dpi
            preferences on the desktop display properties page (the default in is
            Windows 96dpi). If you set it to 120dpi, everything will loook bigger, no
            matter what the settings in IE or OE are.

              Subject: [mru] OT: Outlook Express Problem

              This has been driving me crazy for a few days, so I thought I'd =
              check
              to see=20
              if anyone else has had this problem or has suggestions!!

              I went to the eye doctor the other day and had my pupils dilated.
              When I=20
              came home, I couldn't see anything on the computer screen. So I
              changed my=20
              font size in IE to Largest and changed font size in Outlook Express =
              to

              Largest. I simply used the View menu in each program. I can't
              remember=20
              for sure, but I THINK I switched the font size back to medium in =
              both=20
              programs before shutting down that night.

              The next day, after restarting my computer, I noticed that incoming
              messages=20
              in OE still had the largest font size. When composing messages,
              however, it=20
              is normal. I tried to switch the font size using the View menu =
              (like
              I did=20
              in the first place), but the Font Size option in the View menu is =
              now
              grayed=20
              out no matter what I do. I went to Tools > Options > Read > Fonts =
              and
              chose=20
              "medium" from the dropdown box there, but this "medium" is still
              larger than=20
              it should be. (For example, it looks like point size 12 when it
              should look=20
              like point size 10)

              I searched google and found something about setting font size to
              smallest in=20
              both IE and in Outlook Express, restarting, then setting it back, =
              but
              that=20
              didn't help.

              Any ideas?

              Thanks,
              Amanda

                OT: Outlook Express Problem

                Hello Amanda, et.al.

                Try this:

                Click on menu item "View".
                Select "Text Size"
                Change to the size you want to view your email in.

                I would bet that it is set to "Largest"

                I hope this helps. Let us know.

                  OT: Outlook Express Problem

                  charset="iso-8859-1"
                  Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

                  I tried this and it didn't work either... I'll see if I can get the =
                  right combination of changing sizes, closing programs, and restarting.. =
                  :o)

                  As for DPI, I didn't change any settings... It's only the text in =
                  incoming email messages anyway. The text I'm typing right now is normal. =
                  The text in the message below appears larger, even though they are =
                  actually both the same.

                  Thanks all for the suggestions. I'm giving up for now. I don't think =
                  the fix is obvious.

                  I think I've seen that before. Simply set it to "smaller" instead of=20
                  "medium" and close Outlook Express. Then launch IE and change your =
                  font=20
                  size there. As a backup - also make sure you didn't change your dpi=20
                  preferences on the desktop display properties page (the default in is=20
                  Windows 96dpi). If you set it to 120dpi, everything will loook =
                  bigger, no=20
                  matter what the settings in IE or OE are.

                  I already tried that... Set it back to medium, but "medium" is not =
                  what it=20
                  used to be. It's larger -- It looks like Arial 12 when it should look =
                  like=20
                  Arial 10.

                  When I had initially selected the Largest setting when my eyes were =

                  Arial 10=20

                  Arial 12, when it's actually Arial 10.

                  I tried selecting the "smaller" option under Tools > Options > Read, =

                  I searched google and found something about setting font size to =
                  smallest=20
                  in
                  both IE and in Outlook Express, restarting, then setting it back, =
                  but that
                  didn't help.

                  Any ideas?

                  Thanks,
                  Amanda

                    Customer Customer Fields and VC OPT

                    Hello All-
                    I am running into an issue and wanted to see if anyone else has
                    successfully done what I am trying to do. I am using VC OPT and am
                    implementing Custom Customer Fields. Everything works fine when I go to
                    my account details when logged in, but the problem is when I am creating
                    a new account. If I leave any required custom customer fields empty when
                    creating an account, I of course get the error message and all, but it
                    is populating the custom fields with another users info. The
                    non-template version of ACNT works fine. Here is a sample of what I have
                    in the template:

                    %ACTION(XCFIELDS|customer_id)%
                    Age: <input name="Customer_Custom_AGE" size="25"
                    value="%VAR(g.OUI_Xcustomers:AGE)%" type="text">

                    Any ideas?

                    Thanks,

                    Scott

                        Customer Customer Fields and VC OPT - REPOST

                        Scott,

                        The "problem" is that if there is an error creating a customer account =
                        (such
                        as blank fields), the customer_id variable is 'invalid' and therefore, =
                        the
                        wrong account's information can be loaded.

                        You'll need to check the error flag/variable (ie: g.Data_Entry_Error) to =
                        see
                        if you should load the fields from the database, or populate the fields =
                        from
                        the global variables that were just "posted".

                              Yeah... I specify a number in the dropdown box in the admin under Custom
                              Customer Fields, but they do not show up on the storefront in that same
                              order.
