    Store Front showing 3 times

You seem to have 3 individual <HTML> <BODY> </BODY> pairs hence 3 pages it
looks like the code has been replicated thrice:(

In NS 4.7 the layout looks a bit odd and some images dont display - spaces
in the file names "wu left header.jpg" - Netscape doesn't like these. You
need to rename these if you want them displayed. NS 6.1 is ok though

    Hello-
Anyone know why the storefront would show 3 times on top of each other
    but
not on the rest of the pages? I seem to be overlooking something or just
    stumped.

    Thanks,
    Scott

That is a good point John... I will have to let the site owner know. I
basically do functionality. And yes, the code is being run through 3
times some how. But if you add Screen=3DSFNT
      <<A HREF ="http://www.wuwearshoes.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=3DWUCS&Store_Co=">http://www.wuwearshoes.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=3DWUCS&Store_Co=</A>

How did you setup your left border/nav bar? How did you set it up to show
on the account page, search, and product list? Any mmui modification or
modules to do this? Could that be the culprit?

Before the boom...no more, did you upgrade the OUI? Or add new modules?
Seems like one of your modules may have "unhooked" itself. Try going through
modules and hitting the Update button for each one. Or remove and reinstall
your extra screens extension. I haven't been following the OUI updates
closely, but maybe a hook changed or there's a bug in the latest? Actually,
seems like you don't have the latest, so also try upgrading the OUI.

In regard to the actual problem: doesn't seem like it's affecting the SFNT
screen, as that screen works, as evidenced by being able to access the SFNT
correctly when the screen code is included in the URL. And on the third
iteration of the phantom process the SFNT is also displaying correctly.
There are three sets of HEAD tags so it seems that Begin_Screen is being
called more than once. UIModule_Dispatch is the place to look first. The
first two fake storefronts/screens don't display your welcome message so the
problem seems to be before *UI_StoreFront is called. Somehow the screen
lookup is failing. But if it was working before, then there's probably no
need to look at the code--make sure the hooks are OK. Another confounding
factor could be that your host upgraded Empresa, but AFAIK, this still
wouldn't account for your problem. If you try everything else and still
can't get it, try posting over on coders and someone wiser than me may be
          able to help.

Its all coded into a system extension OUI module. The store has not =

                    Categories In Nav Bar

Display wizard pro from design extend allows you to add buttons to the nav
bar and / or add a second row below the nav bar with buttons.

Then you can remove the cat tree in admin.

I am not sure if you need the Display wizard pro or the non-pro may be good
                    enough

                    Hi,

I only have two categories in my store.

I'd like to remove the category column and product list and then move
the category links to the top Nav Bar.

Any suggestions on the best way would be appreciated.

                    Thanks !

                      SEK2 Search engine killer

The text with a font size of 1 that sek generates at the top of all pages
could be a problem with some search engines.

                        SEK2 Search engine killer

Barrett, I could show you some doorway pages generated by a service that
charges $1,500 up front and $90/mo for quarterly submissions. They are butt
ugly, images stretched, text askew, but it doesn't matter for the search
engines, WHEREAS for the indexers, like Yahoo, etc. that don't spider, but
are supposed to be browsed by humans, it does need to look and be relevant
and neat. But since I haven't used SEK, have no idea how you can set it up,
                        Cyn

Oops, accidentally washed your last replies away. The purpose of a doorway
is to provide ALL the relevant text relating to the keywords that would look
stupid and redundant to visitors. It's not supposed to trick SE's but serve
as an asset. State Farm years ago were the first ones to use the technique
and everyone sat back to see what would happen. They were #1 on the lists
and the feedback was the doorways were relevant and precise to their
business. Because of the idiots out there now using doorways pertaining to
Honda and the actual site is ***** is causing trouble for all. Andrea
should probably have last say on this issue. My sites have been listed with
                            and without doorways. Cyn

BTW, I can't send you the doorways, it would be a breach of their contract.

Oh. Just worked out what that "-" is. You have not entered any
                              keywords in the Basic Config.

Two things. Firstly, you are very welcome to take what SEK2
creates and change it from a "design" perspective to match the
look and feel of your site to perfection.. but why? SEK2 is a way
to generate lots of content with little effort. The purpose of the
SEK2 mirror is very specific.. and it ISN'T to have someone surf the
mirror.. quite the opposite. So while changes to create visual
perfection are a choice you can make.. why do it? You loose the
ability to quickly generate the mirror based on the current data in
                              your store.

Now as far as perfect HTML go, I have no doubt that you are right..
and at the same time what is the implication? I admit to some
lazy HTML habits as a developer, and these are around parts of the
HTML definition that are states as "the way it should be" but in
reality have absolutely zero implication in the real world. The
SEK2 mirrors will load very happily in IE and Netscape all the way
                              back to v3.

                                Maybe I'm missing something then.
It is my understanding that the search engines that do not index our
merchant sites will index the mirror and therefore all the links offered
to the public will be directly to a mirror page; right ?
If that is the case then what kind of impression is one going to make if
the customer sees a crappy page that only a developer would understand
that it is just a mirror page to hook search engines ???

As far as html goes I was finding stuff like table fragments
                                </TABLE><TR><TD><TABLE CELLPADDING=10>
