    Address 2 in MM5?

fantastic!!! I should get my hands on a test store pretty soon. :-)
    can't wait.
I want to mess with customizing the affilaite gui by adding extra mysql
    tables for them.
I hope what I think will work will.

I still have a Commodore Business Machine I am waiting to submit to the
Smithsonian. Mint condition..... gimme a price? Still boots too. Whenever
I think my workstation is running slow and I am ready to take a hammer to it
I just go out and plug that baby in and feel much better about my station.

                Address 2 in MM5?

Hmmm, here's what I used when I was a reporter working remote at
courthouses. I had a rubber cup I'd put over the phone to transmit the
                data via sound.

                <A HREF ="http://www.digibarn.com/collections/systems/zenith-laptop/index.html">http://www.digibarn.com/collections/systems/zenith-laptop/index.html</A>

I started on the Vic 20, then Commodore 64. In HS I learned on an Apple,
and in college, I wanted an Amstrad:

But wound up getting a Panasonic Word Processor that had a B/W screen
and let you save text to a diskette.

                And, ohh, the Amiga -
                <A HREF ="http://www.digibarn.com/collections/systems/amiga2500/index.html">http://www.digibarn.com/collections/systems/amiga2500/index.html</A>
I used it for nothing but to play Lemmings, the most addictive game I've
ever known (I've thrown out all my versions because if I turned it on,
                I'd never work.

The first PC I could afford was an IBM 25Mhz that ran me nearly $2,000.
AOL had just launched and I was one of their first members. Still got my
old screen name which is just a name - no numbers or crazy strings. Oh,
how I wish I had took them up on throwing a few bucks toward stock back
                then - a buddy of mine made millions in '97 - '98.

It was a huge deal when I finally got a 2400 baud modem, and an even
bigger one when I could afford a 96. Reporters make squat, so the 96 ran
more than 1/2 of a weekly paycheck.

                      Address 2 in MM5?

                      Dear Dan,

I have a SX-64 which is portable Commodore 64 with built in 5 inch color
monitor, still works. So does the Commodore 128 and the Timex Sinclair 1000
out in the original box it came in.

First micro was the IMSAI 8080. We had to toggle in a program on the
toggle switches to load BASIC in off of cassette. That was of course after
we wrote our OS that fit into 1K of RAM.

                      Thank you,

                      Nerd Boy

My dad and I were working with Commodore getting the speed up and glitches
out of their address bus controllers. We were given 4 of those big arsh
wheel barrel sized business machines as they called them then. That was
about 2 years before the Vic 20 so I am guessing it was about 1980. I don't
remember the Pet though so it must have been before or after. But their
wasn't alot before except the Heath Kit.

                                I preferred Rogue :)

Ah yes, the days of "CLOAD ...."

                                I had at one point, a TRS-80 Model 1, and a Model 3. Although I loved
the TI-99 for what it was worth.
