    breeding database

    Hello miva-users,

Does anyone have an example database of breeding I can look at?

    I need to create a <parent_1> <parent_2> that can produce <child_1>
<child_2> etc, but I need to be able to take <child_x> and breed it
back to <parent_x>. I have a bunch of checking to do also, M to F
    not Neuter, DOB, DOD, etc...

    This should be fun :)

I am, needles to say, chasing my tail (pun intended) with indexing
    this.

    breeding database

    Bill,

I have a solution, at least in part:

    <A HREF ="http://www.dustybearfarm.com/sr_doe_main.shtml">http://www.dustybearfarm.com/sr_doe_main.shtml</A>

Click on any of the 5-generation pedigrees to see output. There are fields
for prefix and suffix championships and a "baby maker" that allows you to
specify any two valid animals as dam and sire... and line breeding is a big
deal for goats, so it accepts sons/daughters.... The pedigree has a printer
    friendly version.

There is a 3-generation version for ARBA rabbits, but I do not believe it
    is on line.

The script is what I would lovingly call "unoptimized"... but it works well
    enough.

Let me know if I can help.

    Thanks
    rg
