Hmm, I missed him. Can you put it on again, Adam?

Driven by sentiment, not being able to see MrMoon live, at least I reviewed
      again MrMoon's video:

          9sham Pacific....

Will try. Maybe this afternoon. This wasn't all, exactly, uhhhhh,
planned <g> Good thing for me Mr. Moon wasn't wearing that mask when he
knocked on the door last night! He's still snoring, loudly, on the
couch, where I may well be tonight, and the bottle of mead he arrived
with is now empty. I vaguely recall him mumbling something about a
transfer to Beaverton, OR, to hang out with some Linux guy. Plus he
spends the first 4 hours of every day on /.

              Miva welcomes Mr Moon

              Hi All,

So is this for real? Having Mr. Moon jump back in would indicate to me
Miva had additional plans for the Miva Script language. Like perhaps
marketing it beyond its use with Miva Merchant? Could this be
              possible?!

With all the other nostalgic references over the weekend, it seemed as
though it was just part of that discussion, but I couldn't tell by the
dialog if this was or wasn't going to really happen. Perhaps someone's
wishful thinking or a late April fools joke.

So is it really true? =20

                  Hi Bob,
Unfortunatly I have it on good authority that MivaScript is only valuable to Miva Corp as an adjunct
to Miva Merchant. Its ability to earn cash flow comes only from its use in Miva Merchant and 3rd
party modules. Outside that - well.....

It's a shame - as much could be done, and surely, new applications could be conceived. Heck
Macromedia sure makes money off of ColdFusion and Microsoft from ASP.

                    Miva welcomes Mr Moon

I figured it might be a hoax based on the dialogue, but I have to admit,
the idea was actually appealing to me. I guess I am a little gullible
and very much a wishful thinker. It reminds me of another time I got
                    reeled in.

Being a Wash. Redskins fan, we never really had a top notch quarterback
and on April 1st 199x?, they announced that Dan Marino had decided to
come to Washington. I let myself get excited about it before realizing
it was just another April Fools joke.

Oh well, I can still dream!

                    Bob
