OT: How Many



[snuck in the office, one (hopefully) last late night thought]

We can probably set a record here. I've got a 150,000+ record .dbf with
the posts to every MvLIST since late 2001. I think I still have a script
to run reports on it, might even be compiled. I may even have the
processing power and fat enough pipe right here. Should only take a few
minutes to see if we can have one weekend, just one, where we dominate
all 3 lists.

Gentlepersons, it's a challenge! It will be tough. Some men may and
probably will die.

Adam, don't publish the results! Some [mru]-er will try to beat us and start
the same thing cross-posted there - and then we're flooded with 6000 emails
in the next 72hours. Please...

Good thinking. No results until the challenge is complete.

Ya know, we might just get the grand pooh-bah in this race. Highest
traffic is easy (we have Gilligan and Bruce). Lets win highest unique
users in a 3 day period. We can do this, the [mru]-ers are busy filling
out tax forms and hiring accountants. We may even need to get off the
computer and pay extra minute cellular bills, knock on some doors, walk
the streets. Whatever it takes. Unite we must.

Wake up, Mr. Wray. Dammit. Someone, quick, fly to Brazil and locate Jack
Wilson. Someone must know where crazy Tony sleeps. Huber? Mr. Moon?!?
James, Burch, Keith, anyone at Miva, can you post on here? Just a head
count. Is the Auburn list still up?

I'm actually in there, too. Not sure if this will make it to the list,
though, because I can't remember which of my 25 e-mail addresses I
subscribed with years ago.

I don't do any coding though. Subscribed figuring I would, never had the
time. I'm more of a point-and-pay person - a classic American consumer that
consumes as much business expenses as possible because I'd rather send my
money to fellow entrepreneurs than Uncle Sammy and his crooked crew.

I subscribed with. Dnrsite.com... That was the company I worked for a couple
years ago, that I created my first Miva Merchant site for, and have since
left. I guess my e-mail address still works from there...
