    OT: How Many

    Hi Bill,
    I was just near Jupiter.
My brother has a place along the Intracostal - Hobe Sound I think.
We stayed at Pirates Cove - nice view, great restaurant, no internet.

    Bill

      Agreed!
OpenDB is likely not going to be around...
And he did not sell Celestia.
Miva agreed - cause they have a forum and en employee to hel psell stuff (Keith) and now they have
an exce3llent out of the box coder to.

I received some very good info from James on the copernicuss mailing list...

Did you know that I was actually a remote employee (contract) of Miva back in the days of KoolCat?

I was the List Manager and answered questions on the koolcat list - and did installs, etc.

They paid me a flat rate - and I guaranteed x hours a week.

                      OT: How Many

You know in all this "Miva Is Taking Over the World" talk, no one has
mentioned that the door swings the other way as well, ie, Jeff Colins, Jeff
Huber, John Negretti (briefly) and I'm possibly missing a one or two
                      more....

Those are all dead pages. The only reason you found the wcwcpl.htm is I
posted the link to my old 1953 corvette and the return arrow from that
page went to wcwcpl.htm I don't think I have any of the simplenet links
from the real pages at that domain. That was like last millennium. The
cpl was a PC program I had written for maintaining your old cars, parts
and literature inventory and posting the for sale items in a static
catalog (*.htm pages) on the web.

News to me! Interesting. I came into the MvWORLD just after that.

Keith works remotely now, doesn't he?

Gentlepersons, Freaks, Ivo, and the rest...

The final day of battle is upon is. Be merry tonight, enjoy your mead,
charge your phones, and rest headily.

Many known lurkers have not joined us. Weekend schedules make this
challenge great. Some may have even unsubscribed, feeling this list was
already dead. We must and will get them back!

Let us never forget Leif Eriksoon, son of Erik the Red, who, at the mere
age of 20, commanded his own merchant galley, and eventually made one of
the greatest voyages in the history of humankind.

Tomorrow, the fog will clear. This will be your ultimate test of
                                courage, passion, and vision.
