Strange referer log entries

Hi All,

When I have referer records listed as
XXXX:++++++++++++++++++++

What does this represent? I have about a dozen so far this month across
multiple sites -- never had any before this month.

Strange referer log entries



From what few discussions I have found, it's due to a firewall stripping the
referer info out. Here's one of the longer discussions:

I suspected as much, or figured maybe some surf-safe software could strip it
out.
