""A matching product in Miva Merchant is already associated with a
different QuickBooks item""
I get this error while synching my inventory online. I reuse codes in
QB occassionally to avoid a list thousands deep. So this year I may
use the code TSBBM but in six months I may reuse that code with a
different item. That means I may have to rename the code in Merchant
to our sales item code and then reuse the TSBBM code for another product.
I did this recently and now I am finding that my QB invoices are
showing that QB is synching to the wrong codes. I have this set up in
Fields for inventory items.
Code........Name......Both..........Both
Prod.Inv.Lvl....QNTY ON HAND...........QB-->Merchant....Both
So to conclude I have this problem; I am checking invoices that have
been synched and they show the right description <because I dont have
that to synch with products> but it is showing the wrong code and
therefore drawing out of the wrong inventory. Does anyone know
what that error means exactly??
This may sound confusing but there it is.
