QB Sales Tax Vendor

First order comes in that Sales Tax applies to it BUT when we download the order we get the following error message:

QuickBooks Error - There was an error when saving a Invoice. QuickBooks error message - Sales tax details line must have a vendor.


Please guide me to what exactly has to be done in QuickBooks to clear this error.

QB Sales Tax Vendor



Elaine,
Sounds like your tax items do not have a tax agency specified. Go into your
item list in QB and make sure each one of your tax items has an associated
tax agency. If this field is blank it could cause the error you are getting.
Your tax agency will be the vendor you have set up to pay sales tax to
i.e. - State Dept of Revenue.

Also check page 24 of the synchro users guide. Make sure you have the
corrected tax items selected in the synchro configuration.
