Product Code and Price change

One of our product suppliers sent us an update and several products have
a different code and price.

What would happen if we change the codes and prices in QB (and Miva)
prior to downloading orders from Miva that were placed prior to the
change? I'm assuming that in those orders that were already placed but
not downloaded into QB, include items in which the code and price was
changed.

Product Code and Price change



Hi Elaine,

Actually, the order in QuickBooks would have the existing product code and
price before the update. The same thing happens with Miva Merchant. If you
go back to an order for a product that was changed, or removed, it's still
in the order record with the previous information, so it is accurate with
the info at the time the order was placed.
