Hi Elaine,

There's really no way that Miva Synchro could be continuously slowing down
your Miva Merchant store. The only time you may see a slight speed decrease
is when you are actually synchronizing. In which case, you may want to turn
on the "Auto Maintenance Mode" option so the store is temporarily closed
when synchronizing products and customers. But there won't be a permanent
slowdown in your store due to just using Miva Synchro.

Miva Synchro does add a customer to your store for each order placed in Miva
Merchant, so if your host, for some reason, can't handle the slight increase
in data capacity, then you may wish to address this with them. It should not
slowdown your storefront, though.

Right now we updated our products (only 331) from QG to Miva and we have

Elaine,

I also noticed that when I synchronize, there are several "users" =
logged on to my store admin. I know it's Miva Synchro because all of =
the extra "logged on users" are of the same username; the username that =
I have setup for Synchro to only use.

This is what you are refeering to, correct?

Elaine - and everyone else,

If you have the Audit Trail feature turned on in QuickBooks turn it off and
see if that makes downloads faster. I'm not sure if it will, but it makes
QuickBooks run slower on its own.
