    Update



    I finally fixed the problem but I had to delete the company in synchro and
    start from scratch. I think that for some reason it didn't like my trying to
    change the log-in name.

    Yeah, I am not blaming Synchro, it was something weird with Miva. Hindsight
    is always 20/20, here's what happened: When the problem started, I entered
    the new user in Miva, then changed the login in synchro. I double and
    probably triple checked the password. When it stopped working, I tried
    switching back to the old user, but that didn't help.

    Later, while I was going through the company set-up process again, it still
    wouldn't recognize the user (this was how I narrowed it from "Miva Error" to
    "Unable to login error") and I ended up having to use one of the old users,
    but strangely enough, not the original old user.

    I did not try just logging in to Miva using the new user, although looking
    back that probably would have saved me the trouble of reinstalling the
    company in Synchro. But it was reinstalling the company that allowed me to
    narrow down the problem. Oh well. If this happens to anyone else you'll have
    something to go on. All that matters is it's working again. :)
