    Hi Craig,

QuickBooks is a very resource intensive program and requires a lot from
    your
computer when running. When Miva Synchro is adding orders to it, it is
connecting directly with the program and editing the databases through
    it's
API. During this time, QuickBooks will appear unresponsive, since it is
actually a lot of work in the background. It's best to just let it be
    while
it synchronizes. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do to speed up
    the
process. The speed of Miva Synchro is dependant on how fast QuickBooks
    can
    add the new data.

    Thanks.

Hello, My orders seem to by syching just fine, but each order requires
    about
4 to 5 minutes, and when you have 60 or 70 orders this can take a long,
    long
time. It seems as though the entire computer is slowing down and
    Quickbooks
stops responding while it processes the order. Does anyone have any
    ideas?
I'm using synchro 1.1 and quickbooks Pro 2003.

    Thanks

    Craig

      Hi Steven,

As I said previously, Miva Synchro is at the mercy of how fast QuickBooks is
able to work in the background on your computer. Unfortunately, we have no
way of making Miva Synchro work any faster than QuickBooks will allow it.

      Thanks.

      Jim,
I am having pretty much the same problem where when synching
orders to quickbooks I get the server busy window and the "switch to" and
"retry" connection options. I have to wait then click it over and over,
      many times
after several minutes to keep the synch going and also many times I get an
      messager that
says an error has been encountered and it requires me to quit the program.
Then when I try and quit quickbooks, it says I can't because it is in use by
      Miva Synchro.
When the synching does work it takes so long with me having to click the
retry button, I could enter the Invoices by Hand FASTER!
So what is the point? Miva Shyncro is not saving me any time
with this slow synching and many times the synching doesn't work at all.

Any effective suggestions are welcome. Otherwise this progam is pretty much
slower than entering invoice by Hand.

      -Steven
