    RE: sales tax

    Hi Ariana,

If you are using the option to import Sales Tax as a Line Item on the
invoice, it will only bring over what has already been calculated on the
Miva Merchant Order. Therefore, if you have Miva Merchant setup to charge
tax for one state only, then that same tax rate will come into QuickBooks on
that order. An order from another state would not be charged tax by Miva
Merchant, so it won't have the Sales Tax Line Item on that order's invoice
    in QuickBooks.

    Thanks.

    Subject: sales tax

Hi. I can't seem to set my sales tax properties correctly to bring it
    into quickbooks when I synchronize.

I need it to use sales tax only when the buyer is from my state. I
would prefer the tax to show up on the bottom of the QB screen - not
as a line item. How do I set it? It's charging everyone state tax
now, and when I had it another way, it didn't bring the tax through
at all. I just must be missing the perfect combination of settings.

    Thanks!

    Sincerely,

    Ariana Pronin
