There must be more to the set up than indicated in the readme.doc, since
we can't get the "ok" button to be active on the Properties:Orders
screen - to synchronize with Miva Orders. Any tips?

    Customer synchronization works.

Also, is there a way to view previous postings to this mailing list?

      Mk,

The tax and non tax windows are not empty, so that is not it. However,
that may be on the right track, since other windows are empty. I suspect
there may be some special set-up required regarding accounts within
      QuickBooks.

Does Miva realize that the statement at the end of these emails
"TO FIND HELP: mailto:[email protected]" points to an invalid
      email account?

Yeah i think it would be good if they made a How To on setting up from
scratch just the basic account that you need in quickbooks to import your
data correctly. I still cant figure out how to make shipping appear on my
        invoices.

          Synchronizing orders with Synchro

          Bob,

I have the same problem. I've tried every combination for the last 10
days or so and can't anything to free up the GO button. I've synched
both products and customers without any real hitches, but the
synchronization of Orders is alluding me.

Has anyone out there had this problem and gotten it to work?

            Synchronizing orders with Synchro

            Trevor,

I did figure this out - I feel like a detective, working without
            documentation.
If there are blank fields on the Properties:Orders form (in my case the
"Shipping Item" drop down menu was blank) then "ok" will be grayed out.
I had to add a QuickBooks item and account for "Shipping". Then it
appeared in the drop down menu and "OK" was no longer grayed out.

It looks like if there is an item shown on the example windows in the
Synchro readme.doc, then you should try to make sure it exists in your
            QuickBooks file.

            -Bob

              Synchro release date and pricing

              Question to Miva:

Is the Miva Synchro beta really going to end on October 1? Will there be
some warning before the price changes to $399? I think a lot of us are
waiting to see how the software solidifies before we plunk down that
              quantity of money.
