font-awesome not showing up

I have a client's store where we started with Bootstrap but no Readytheme. Need to troubleshoot the font-awesome display for the social media icons. I think I have the files in the right places, font-awesome.css and I have the font files in the /fonts folder:

fonts/fontawesome-webfont.svg
fonts/fontawesome-webfont.ttf
fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff
fonts/FontAwesome.otf

The rounded square background displays but there is no graphic rendering like "f" in the facebook icon.

Any ideas what might be missing or where I should start looking?

It always happens...after I post a question after spending time fruitlessly, I figured it out after I posted. LOL.

I actually did have the font files in the wrong place.

But, I like the CDN method better. Thanks.
