System library 'GD' is not registered on localhost using MivaMia

I have installed MivaMia and installed Miva Merchant on my localhost in window 7 64bit OS. Then I Grabbed the Merchant5 and mm5 folders from my website from the server along with mysql merchdb.dat file.

I created a new database locally using MySQL workbench and connected. and updated new DB info into merchdb.dat file

Everything works fine. I was able to get it started, created categories and products.

I could even add thumbnail and large images.

BUT the problem comes

When I am trying to add additional images.

I click on additional image tab, and upload a image, after uploading when I hit save i am getting the following error

myimage.jpg Error: System library 'GD' is not registered

Not sure where I should start looking to debug this error.

Any advice or suggestion is highly appreciated

You could try installing the GD libraries for Windows and see if that fixes it.

I've attached the BGD.DLL you'll need to run on Windows. You'll have to add it to the Mia's Libraries.

To do that you'll need to first place the file someone on your computer. I would suggest you put it with the rest of Mia's files although it is a system file and could go with the rest of your system files. By default Mia installs in C:\Miva Merchant\Miva Merchant Mia and I would put the file there. You'll need to make sure the security settings on BGD.DLL match the rest of the files in that folder as well.

Once the file is put somewhere on your computer you'll need to open Mia and then click on the Libraries button and then click on Add. Choose System from the Library Type drop down. Enter GD in the Method box and then click on Browse to browse to where ever you put the BGD.DLL file.
