Are there any additional features in the Iron and Wool ReadyTheme (over Suivant)? Would it be possible to list the features of the Iron and Wool ReadyTheme in the apps store so that it can be easily compared to the Suivant theme?

I think Chet's problem might be coming from PayPal. He has an eCheck option that he needs to remove.Leslie Kirk

Re: Iron and Wool ReadyTheme Features
Miva,
I have our sites hosted by an authorized Miva host, Miva. I had 2 development websites set up so I could work with the Iron and Wool frame to make mobile sites for the future. We finished one of the sites and when I requested the site be made active the host indicated that some of the databases couldn't be updated. The indication is that I must stay with the databases that were created when the dev site was created. These sites are all current 9, we are just redoing to get a mobile framework.
I need some answers to this issue since the 2nd site is much more active I can't live with the loss of data between the set up date of the dev site and the actual date goes live.
I am sitting waiting for your answer,Thanks,
Chet Vincentz

Re: Iron and Wool ReadyTheme Features
Your host is correct. When you take a dev site live, you need to use the database you used when the store was created. If you want to "update" the dev store database so it has the latest customers, orders, products, etc from the live store then the best way to do that it copy the data at the database level, table by table.
If you need assistance doing this, we have a professional services here team who can help

Re: Iron and Wool ReadyTheme Features
What about exporting the framework from the dev store and applying it to the live store?Leslie Kirk

Re: Iron and Wool ReadyTheme Features
Yes that is a good option too. You just need to ensure all the files referenced by the dev store (css, js, images, etc) get uploaded to the new store. When saving a framework, Miva tries to automatically included them in the framework, but there are cases where they can be missed.

Re: Iron and Wool ReadyTheme Features
There is a bug where it is being encoded (for spam protection) but not unencoded. For the time being, go to the Global Footer and replace this:
<a href="emailto:&mvte:global:storeEmailB64;" rel="nofollow">Email Us</a>
with:
<a href="emailto:&mvte:global:store:email;" rel="nofollow">Email Us</a>

Re: Iron and Wool ReadyTheme Features
Brennan,
I did as you suggested, but shouldn't something further happen like open a document for the person to fill out and then sent etc. It does now show our email address in the sent to link but nothing further happens. Thanks,

Re: Iron and Wool ReadyTheme Features
Brennan,
I have Outlook 2003 on my computer but this link doesn't open anything much less a blank email from Outlook to be sent. I guess at the moment this link really doesn't do anyone any good. It seems it either gets removed or as you suggest replaced with link to CTUS.Thanks,
