I have a jpg assigned to a product and its shows up, but when I select the zoom. It is not resizing to a bigger size.

Did you check your BODY tag as mentioned in your previous post? I had all the same problems you're talking about just a couple days ago...

I'm new to this and trying to help my husband fix a old website. When we installed the ready theme we had a copy of the old web site on it. All the images that were on the product page are now in a legacy field and will not show up on the product page. Do I have to upload all those images again? I don't know how to get the page to see the legacy images that are on the ftp server already

You don't need to reupload the images. If you want to take advantage of the Image Machine then you will need to reassign the images. The easiest way to do this is through a flat file export/import. Create an export of all your products. Only assign the Product Code, Product Name and Full Sized image fields for the export. Use the comma delimited file setting. Export the file. I would suggest you also create an export of all your products with all of the fields to have as a backup in case anything goes wrong.

Next take the exported file and change the field name of the Full Sized image to Main (it will help you find the correct field to assign it to). Save the file. You will need to do a bit of prep work before you do the actual import.

First you need to check and see if you have Image Type Main (it is mostly likely there but do check). The next step may be overkill to some, but it's what I do for image path reassignments.

Go to Data Management > Import Settings and create a new import. Call it Image Reassignment (or what ever you'd like). Select the Product Import from the select list. Next select Update Existing Products Only. Set your delimiter to comma (leave the other selections as is). Click the Manual Assign button. Find you file using the Choose File. Next you will map (assign) the fields. You should only have 3 to assign Product Code, Product Name and Image Type: Main. Once everything is configured, click Add.

Now go to the Import/Export tab, find the import you just created. Choose your file and watch the import do it's work. You should now have all of your images assigned to the Image Type: Main.

Re: Image Manager not resizing pic

When I exported the products file. I changed the Image:url to the Image: main header and saved the file. Then I tried to create the import setting and when i dragged by newly changed file it said "Parse error" and it would't let me uploade it. So I didn't get to step 3 yet.
And also the full size column wasn't in the export file either. Just the thumbnail and Image url

Parse error is usually due to the file being a different format than what you did your setup with. Is your file comma or tab delimited? Make sure your setting for that matches the import.
