Can user be notified they are using a Legacy ReadyTheme?

Does Miva have any way of knowing which sites are using what ReadyThemes? It seems that the recent updates to Miva have "broken" some of the Legacy ReadyThemes. There are store owners out there that don't even realize they have a Legacy ReadyTheme unless they are told. Then if something breaks due to an update they get frustrated, contact Miva Support who valiantly tries to fix it, then the store owner comes back the the developer who set everything up, then posts are made to the forum that fix part of the issue but by now the store owner is blaming Miva for all the issues related to a ReadyTheme that they had no idea was considered to be a "Legacy".

Thanks - was just wondering. Have you considered sending out "blanket" emails to let store owners know when a ReadyTheme moves into the Legacy category and what that might mean to them and their store? I know the info is posted on the forums but I hear store owners "complain" that they don't go to the forums. Just sort of thinking out loud with my customer support hat on.

hmmm....that gave me an idea for another tool for our workshop. a simple reporting tool that ping a web site and get stuff like version number, framework and 'version', installed modules, etc. that way, we can install it on all our clients sites and have a 'reporting' tool that calls the data into spreadsheet. said spreadsheet can track the info when a new release comes in. if we discover that framework X breaks in the 'Miva11' ( :) ) update, we can locate other clients sites with this configuration. (we work with at least 100+ 'clients'...can't keep track of them all).

And what if happens to not be a client but someone seeking help? This needs to be a universal notification for all store owners IMHO.

oh, for sure it would be great to have it built in...but it would still be useful for us...heck, when Miva10 came out, we still had maybe 20 'clients' who hadn't upgraded yet (cause they never go into the admin) and we had no idea they hadn't.
