Search in Colossus

Entering a product code on the storefront search bar with lowercase letters won't find the product when using uppercase letters will. What am I missing?

Hi Scott,

Have you tried rebuilding the product lists via the scheduled task? I have tested this on the demonstration site and am unable to duplicate it.

I would have never associated the two. What is the scheduled task that rebuilds? There is one to delete the product list in cache. Is that the task to run?

It's all good. I thought it would be, but needed to make sure,

The solution definitely may have been to delete the list in cache. But some search results in Admin for a specific product were weird too. Regardless, I updated that scheduled task to run every 2 hours instead of 4. Will there be any issues from doing that?

Hi Scott,

No issues that I am aware of. I'm not sure what impact it has on the server or anything, that would be a question for support.
