Carrying over the selected Payment Method to the OPAY screen

Is there any way to get the selected payment method to carry over from the OSEL screen to the OPAY screen? I have store owner that is getting comments that it's confusing when you select, say Visa as the Payment Method, then click the Continue to Payment button, there are the cute icons that will select once the customer starts entering the card number. How hard would it be to remove those icons and have, for example, "PAYMENT METHOD: VISA" display at the top like it does in the Suivant ReadyTheme?

If I'm not wrong, payment method should be transferred to the OPAY via &mvt:payment:desc;

You can set the image container to display none and append &mvte:payment:desc; to the H1 on the page.
