Levels PATR Related Products Layout Vertical instead of Horizontal

I was having an issue with the related products layout on PATR displaying vertically (instead of horizontally like the PROD and SFNT pages do).

So, I decided to test a theory that since the PROD page related products were displaying properly, why not try the body id js-PROD on the PATR page. Well, it worked.

Now when you hover over a product, say from the slider on the SFNT page, and then click the Add to Cart button on the product, the related products on the PATR display horizontal for that product if that product has related products assigned to it. If the product has no related products, it goes to the basket as it should. Issue fixed.

So, apparently, I have something that was previously broken and then fixed? Reason I ask is that I couldn't find any answers on the forum to my issue.

The issue is that vertical vs horizontal is controlled in part by javascript. (hence, the #js_xxxx IDs). You could have also copied the js code for this (i believe in scripts) but I think your solution is easier/faster and should work just as well.

IMHO, these effects should be ID'd by 'type'. I.e, the widgets container should have the id and it should be something like #related_slider.

Thanks for the input, Bruce. Yep, saw it in scripts.js (js-related-products-carousel), and since PATR and the PROD are so similar, I figured that would be a good step in seeing if that was it. And, I absolutely agree that IDs would be really better by 'type'

BTW, I figured you'd be here on a Saturday! [grin]

LOL, that's why we do the "long cook" overnight. Should I send you a link to the digital thermometer and alarm system we use? Save me some burnt ends
