    Shadows ReadyTheme Mega Menu?

Has anyone tried switching out the Shadows ReadyTheme menu to a mega menu - where there's only one level of dropdowns (rather than the third-level flyouts) and each dropdown has multiple columns?

    Hi Susan,

Once Colossus is released, there will be a mega-menu extension available similar to the one in use on Levels.

It is currently looking like the end of June.

Thanks, Matt! Will that be able to be dropped into Shadows? The site is already under development. (Also Andreas thanks for asking the question I was about to!I

            Hi Susan,

Yes, all extensions are intended to be added to a site with as little coding as possible...not including any customization you may make.

Matt, can you give us any info on Colossus? I shared this thread with my client and they're interested to know more.

                Hi Susan,

The Colossus was developed with the medium to large catalog store in mind. It boasts several new features such as mega-menu navigation, customized account pages, improved facet functionality on category and search pages, and a scroll-able, modal photo gallery for the product page.

Been waiting for Colossus for a long time -great things are worth waiting for.

Would users have an option to filter (hide) Out of Stock products from category page? I know there are current workarounds available, but they are not ideal, at least not as I understand.
                    Thank you, Bill Davis

                      Hi Bill,

With the ReadyThemes, I try to only use natively available functionality. Once there is an inherit way to filter out of stock products, it will be available in the themes.

Was this functionality to filter on stock status ever released? Can't find anything about it.

                          Thanks!

                            Hi Joe,

This functionality has not been included at this time. It is on the list, but I do not have any information on when it might be added. Currently, you would have to create a custom field for stock level and use that as a facet.

Has this been added yet (for Shadows 2.0)?
