Newbie Shadows Theme Questions

Hi all,

I'm setting up my first site using Shadows Theme (or any theme for that matter). For years all the sites I managed were on CSSUI and had their own custom designs, and any features they wanted were done manually. So I'm pretty behind on all the new features / settings available, if anyone can help me with a few newbie questions I'd really appreciate it!

• on product pages, how can I make a larger image open in a modal of some sort? Right now the page shows a pointer icon when hovering over the product image (image type: main), but clicking it does nothing. I have 'enable click to closeup' turned on in PROD > Product Display Layout Image Dimensions..
• how can I make the logo link to / instead of /storefront.html? I dug around in URI mgmt but found nothing..
• is there an easy way to set up infinite category page scroll, or is that a manual thing? I checked CTGY > Category Product List Layout and it has the options for how many items to display, but nothing about infinite (as opposed to paginate)

If you have not gotten to far on your customizations I would recommend you wait a few weeks until we release Page Builder. It comes with a completely updated Shadows theme and will be the best place to start your new site build:

But here are the answers to your questions:

1. It should do this automatically, is there any other JS on the error causing an error. But our of the box this should just work, see an example here: https://shadows.mivareadythemes.com/number-2.html if this is not working for you I would send in a request to our support team so we can get access to the site and take a look.

2. This is done in URI Management, Go to Settings -> URI Management then search for SFNT and change /storefront.html to just /. There will be another screen that uses / so you'll need to change the to something else as well.

3. We don't support that out of the box, only number pagination. However its can be added to any theme but would require some web development to setup.

thanks Brennan , I'll open a ticket for #1 - there are no js errors showing in console so must be something else I'm missing

Page Builder looks good - but we're already behind as far as holidays go, so for now we just want to launch the site quickly
