Product Listing Can't Edit

I am trying to edit the code for the Product Listing section for "What's Popular".

I make the edits in the code and the "Number of Products" and hit save but the page won't save.

Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix?

What edits are you making? Can you post your before and after code?

I am just trying to comment this line out:

<!--<a href="" class="float-right">view all<span data-icon="&#xe046;"></span></a>-->

And change the "Number of Products" field from '10' to '6'

I thought maybe it was my browser, but it is happening in both Chrome and Firefox.

Are you seeing the changes being saved in the administration portal and can you post a link to your site?

No, it won't save the changes. I hit the save button and nothing happens.

I have tried making the same change in the Suivant demo site without indecent. I would suggest you contact support and see if they can assist.

Try just updating the setting.

If that doesn't work, check the other templates on the page, and if there is a recent change, revert back to it, then try just changing the setting. Then the template changes.

There are some compiler errors that trigger but don't show the error message. Rare, but it happens and fits your description.

I tried just changing the "Number of Products" from '10' to '6' but it still won't save.

There aren't any other templates on the page since this isn't a 'page'. It is the "Product Listings" tab under "ReadyTheme".

The template code in this section was only changed once - from original to "Updated by Framework's Suivant-readytheme...."

I have submitted a ticket but nothing yet.

This ended up being a 'mod security' issue on our host's server and is now resolved after whitelisting it. Thanks,
