Considering Suivant - Tips, Pitfalls

Hi everyone, I'm considering starting a new site with Suivant. I already have currently a couple sites with Optics, this would be my first foray into a Suivant site. Since this forum has such great, experienced folk, I wanted to ask:

1. What do you really like about this ReadyTheme?
2. What do you hate?
3. Would you have gone back and chosen a different theme?
4. What customizations have you done that you consider "necessary" or are missing? I think a slider on the main front page image is one thing for sure.
5. What customizations are you particularly proud of?

I'd look at Iron & Wool or one of the other later release themes (though the menu system may need replacing if you have many categories). Main reason. I really dislike the Checkout screens in Suivant. Cluttered and difficult to interact with compared with the later themes.

Hmm, I think they must have made improvements. I have just compared both and they seem the same?
