Mailchimp Subscriber popup signup form interferes with suivant readtytheme carousel

I have a "connected" site with mailchimp, however, when implementing the subscriber popup signup form, it interferes with my suivant readtytheme carousel.
I have read other articles about this with other readythemes but have not found a solution.
Are there any solutions for this that anyone knows?

Is it live? Can you post a link? Off the top of my head it sounds like a z-index issue.

Thanks Leslie. It is not live now as I use those carousels on my home page right now. I could make it live if you want to take a look.

When in use, it is a modal popup

Understood. Without turning it on can you describe the interference? How is the modal popup interfering? If it is appearing under the carousel?

When it pops up, just close the window and then refresh the home page

That looks like a javascript error that is breaking the carousels - go ahead and turn it back off. I'm peeking at the source code right now.
