Basket Discount Not Available on Page

We have created our own Mini-basket using AJAX and a new "basket" page. I've checked three time (and will probably check again) but we have the same items assigned to the new page, and the same settings (such as show basket discounts). However, on our mini-basket basket page, we are not getting the discount based variables.

Thoughts? Ideas? Prayers?

Bruce - PhosphorMedia I have found that to call the discount API you need to pass in an array of product structures. Try that if just doing the "item" doesn't work. Does that help??! I use this way to get discounts loaded on single variants when I load them via attribute changes etc and similar stuff.

Interesting thought, thanks. But why would this be different than the standard basket page. I assume that's what the "Show Basket Discounts" option does. Guess its time to hunt through the LSK.

DUH!...

Previously, we had this code in a different template and where using BasketItemList_Load_Basket(). That doesn't load the discounts. Switching back to the native array brought the variables back in scope. A quick look at the LSK doesn't reveal a function that obviously loads in the discount ... but don't really need that now.
