It would seem that the addition of breadcrumbs was only available for CSSUI. Other than using a tool type module is there any way to create something similar to the CSSUI Smart Breadcrumbs?

If this is for search engines (where the breadcrumbs should remain constant for a give product/page) I think your only choice would be a custom field.

If you don't use the custom field route, I think you'll need to do a somewhat complex set of functions and conditionals to "walk back" from where you are. Extremely doable, but not via a forum post at this time :( . I've done several of these for other reasons but because of these 'other reasons' that code sample would probably confuse rather than illuminate the situation, sorry.Bruce Golub
