1) SoftGoods now fully supports Wombat's inventory variants. You can set a different download for any attribute combination in your store by configuring each of the variant products individually or via import. Variant products are inactive products in your store that are tied to a main product behind the scenes, and they can be edited individually just like any other product. You can set a download file per variant. If a variant download is not specified, the main product download is used.
Reading between the lines - this means you could have a product with NO download at the main product level - and one or more variants that have different downloads by the variant. Great for selling music downloads, software with boxed and/or download versions, etc.
2) Improved split-chunk file handling: SoftGoods will now calculate the size of a split-chunk file based on the sizes of all the chunks. The "real" file on the file system can now be "empty" to save drive space and size will be calculated appropriately.
