USPS changed their method names, along with their API update over the weekend. The API changes do in fact appear backwards compatible (and should be until May 2011) however, the method name changes do cause issues with methods not appearing at checkout. Our module has a feature to "remap" the method names:
While this feature is intended to help merchants resolve this seemingly yearly occurrence, users are reporting only moderate to little success with the remapping of names. It appears USPS added both "reg" symbols and superscript HTML tags, which may be the source of the issue - we are investigating and working on the code to determine why the name remapping isn't always successful.
We will publish a notice here when a module update is released. Thanks for your patience as we work on an update.

- click the "Show Advanced options"
- click "Check for changed names"
