We are please to announce Map Locations from PCI Net.

Map Locations is a full featured dealer and store locator for Miva Merchant 5 stores. It provides your customers with a searchable address list and maps to your dealer or store locations, repair centers or any addresses you want to publish.

The intuitive interface is patterned after Merchants admin, so you can start using it right away. Import and maintain your address list in the Admin.

Installation is completely automatic. (no complex instructions) The module detects the framework for your store and creates the correct templates, styles, javascript and graphics for you.

How do you keep up with the zip codes, not the stores but all the zip codes in the US, they do change.

Would you consider adding some radio buttons to represent the distance to search. For example a default of 25 miles which could be changed to 5 or 10 miles if there are a lot of stores found. Along with 50 or 100 miles if the search needed to be expanded?

And the last dream feature would be to list the results by distance, the closest store first.

I'm working on a major upgrade to the module that will be completed by next week. It will address all of your dream features and much more.

There is no way for the module to know if a zip code changed, but improved import / export features will make it easier to manage.
