Hi Miva Merchants,
An updated version for our USPS Advanced 5 module is now available due to name changes in the USPS API. While not strictly required, this update is recommended. Users who had already updated to v5.038 (published January of last year for USPS Domestic API v4 and International v2) can utilize the feature we created then to dynamically reset all shipping method names to the current USPS reported available methods. This feature remains available, and this update ensures new installations receive the proper original method names.
This update also makes available two methods that were previously disabled:
- Re-enabled First Class Mail Flat as a valid shipping method
- Re-enabled First Class Mail Parcel as a valid shipping method
- Changed First Class International Package to First Class International Parcel for new installs
Updates are available with your current Viking software update subscription, just click the Check for Updates link in the module.
