It'd be great if Miva would show a prompt upon canceling/deleting items in an order, asking if the canceled items should be put back into inventory or not. I have a client who occasionally needs to cancel items from orders. They sell out of items in their retail stores before they're able to remove the products from Miva, or there are errors with inventory -- damaged products etc. There are a few problems with Miva automatically restocking inventory once an item is canceled. They've experienced customers who've added themselves to a "waitlist" get notified that the item is back in stock. Worse, they've had customers quickly purchase the sold out item again.
I realize a workaround is to set a negative inventory value for the product before canceling -- which I've suggested, but it's still a little ridiculous. I know Shopify and other platforms have a solution for this in place.
