Can you give me some more context about your problem? If you change a category name in the Miva admin, you want that pushed out to all ReadyTheme navigation sets that use that category? Or is it more about adding/removing categories?

      Both, moving categories too.

You might want to refer to this post "Import Navigation Items for navigation_all-categories".

I think the simplist way to view this request is to have the option of the Main Menu behaving like the Category Tree. (Additional coolness factor to have both use 'cached' data in case there are a lot of cats, sub-cats, etc.)

Did we answer your questions? Is it something that we should explore on our own to address the issue?

Was a solution ever developed to sync Shadows RT store dynamic category navigation menu with Navigation Set? We have a lot of categories, sub-cats, subs...?

Please don't tell after so many years of Shadows RT being release that the only option large stores have is the manual route.

William Davis Could you use the category tree as your main navigation as well? There are not restrictions on how many times you use the category tree on a template. You could wrap each one in their own wrapper then style them specific to where you want them in the template.

I don't know, I would have to ask our consultant. But it sounds like a great idea to me, especially since it seems Navigation Sets has a limitation of three (3) category levels. I'll try to remember and report back here what the outcome was.

That 3 level category limitation can be a game changer (but not in a good way).
