One of my pro bono clients can no longer afford MailChimp's monthly fees. They have almost 3600 contacts. I have told her if she wants to keep growing the list she needs to continue collecting emails in accordance with the CANSPAM Act. Most of her new subscribers come via the pop-up box that MailChimp offers. They only send out about 3 emails a year albeit extremely large ones. Unfortunately, $75 a month is too much for the 501(c)3.
