What I do: I'm currently part of the eMediaSales teams in the capacity of a Web Developer. I specialize in PHP/MySQL Development, and I'm also proficient in JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, MVC Development, Drupal, Joomla... I'm currently continuing to study computer programming at the college level.
Mivite since: I'm just beginning my career with Miva software systems working closely with the expert team at eMediaSales.
Something you may not know: I also posses an active Real Estate Salesperson license in the state of California and I'm a member of the National Association of Realtors.

What I do: I am the president of and run Webwest Internet Solutions, Inc. and LA Servers International Web Hosting Company
Mivite since: 1999 after getting fed up with Perlshop
Something you may not know: I have a music degree from Ohio State University and moved to California in 1981 playing Hammond B3 Organ and Synthesizers in rock and roll bands. Yes I was in 80s big hair bands playing the Sunset Strip.
Something you may know: I've attended virtually every Miva conference (proof is in Leslie's photos), have met or know many of the Mighty Mivites personally, and have been on this great forum millions of times but didn't register to post until today.
Something I don't know: Why it took so long ...

Howdy. You're gonna like Miva a heck of a lot.

Bet you had a Leslie, too. Hated hauling those B3's around as much as an 88. The top handle on the 88 case had to be a practical joke. My heyday was early 70's.

I'm sure I will - I've sure liked it for the past 10 years. :)

I had a 145 Leslie with a full set of Groove Tubes and heavy duty EV speakers to keep up with the Marshalls. I used a 73 stage at first but left that behind when I got my Mirage - way easier to carry around and it had a 9' Steinway patch as well as Rhodes and more. It had a floppy drive on it (ooh, aah) which was my first experience with anything computer-like.

I was playing Trombone in Chicago / BS&T type horn bands in the late 60s to mid 70s bands so I know that era too. I still have all my gear - my B3 is a 1957 ...

Hello all. My name is Kristin Park (peacemaker26) and I am an owner of a web based business with my husband and we have just celebrated our 10th year on the www. I have been a Miva user for at least 8 of those years. Our family business is called Circle KB Inc. (http://www.circlekb.com) We sell old west and western frontier collectibles and memorabilia. The foundation of our business is custom leather work. My husband is a custom leather maker and specializes in gunleather of the old west and speghetti western movie eras as well as scabbards, holsters and gun belts etc for hunting enthusiasts.

Location: Salmon, Idaho a small agricultural rural community of about 3000ppl adjacent to the Frank Church Wilderness Area and the Continental divide and about 3 hours from Missoula Montana. Our little town has two rivers that run through it. The Salmon River became known as the "River of No Return" during and after the Lewis and Clark expedition and birthplace of Sacajawea, the Native American Shoshone women that helped the Corp of Discovery. The Salmon river is a great river offering world class white water rafting and abundant fishing opportunities.

Our new 5.5 store is under development and should be done soon. I do all of our web work myself and have used the Miva Forum over the years to learn.

I recently posted a need for help and Dan Whims helped me figure out some coding recently and I just wanted to let Dan and everyone else that contibutes to this forum and is willing to share their knowledge and expertise free-ly know that I really appreciate you. You have been a valuable resource to me and others.

Thank you and I wish you all the happiest of trails.

What you don't know about me: I like to collect old (before 1940) wooden puzzles depicting nice artwork relating to beautiful western scenery, wildlife and of course cowboys and horses!

My inner wish: I cannot wait to be able to confidently answer someones question on the Miva Forum that will solve their problem or help them out.

Hey everyone...getting a bit sentimental here with the holidays and all so stopped by for a peek at the Miva Merchant world. It's also amazing how often Miva Merchant and this forum pop up in search results when you're trying to figure out anything ecommerce related--the best testament to the history of generosity and knowledge of this community! We're happy that James and his crew have taken over the Viking mantle with such aplomb. It's been a great learning experience for us to actually use Miva Merchant on a daily basis to earn our bread and butter rather than being somewhat removed/insulated developers. Oh the modules we would have written if only we'd known!
