In the past year and a half our organic search rankings have dropped dramatically. We just recently learned this may be due to Penguin/Panda Google updates. We are a small company and currently don't have much of a budget. We are looking for an SEO plan that we can take and implement ourselves to improve our rankings and sales.

We offer SEO/Marketing consultation services. With Panda having a focus on site quality, and Penguin being more link specific, there are any number of possibilities here, however a larger portion of the time we find that clients, store owners and managers lose sight of general marketing practices and putting all their eggs in one basket. Tight budget can be an issue if you are in a very competitive market as this limits marketing options, however there is still a lot that can be done, that doesn't cost much, to improve your overall exposure.
