Shipping Estimator (not in checkout): choose residential / commercial rates

We have a shipping estimator that allows you to calculate shipping before you get into your cart. Right now, it just takes a US Zipcode and estimates UPS costs. It uses info from our Viking Coders Custom UPS integration (at least dimensional weight). We need to retain that functionality.

What we'd like it to do is add 2 things

1) A country selector. Right now it fails on Canadian zips. We need Canada & PR added in there.

2) An option button for 'Residential' or 'Commercial' rates. Right now, we never know which rate it's returning. It changes person to person, day to day, logged in or not logged in.

Not sure if there's a module that handles this or not, but we'd be open to hiring to get a module installed or something developed.

What module are you using to estimate shipping? The Mini Basket will allow for input of the country. I'm not aware of one that provides the option for residential or commercial. Most never offer that option because both UPS and FedEx can "read" if an address is one other the other and providing the option can result in residential customers choosing commercial because it's cheaper.
