    Part Time Miva Webmaster

    We are looking for a 2-3 day a week webmaster who is fluent in Miva Script and all aspects of Miva, HTML, JavaScript, PHP etc.. We have content people, so we are looking for someone more technical. If you have graphic artist skills as well that would be ideal, for creating banners in Photoshop, etc. We are located in the Spring Branch district of Houston , Zip 77070.     • Maintains company’s website
    • Generate and revise web pages
    • Lay out content on web pages
    • Ensure the website works on all browsers
    • Debug / solves any technical problems that arise
    • Set up and monitor Google analytics
    • Create and maintain all banners and graphics (change weekly)
    • Migrate site content to new design on Miva platform
    • Send weekly specials HTML email to customers
    • Produce product videos to be posted to the web using Final Cut.

    Experience
    • Proven experience as a webmaster – ideally Miva Merchant experience is desired
    • Detailed knowledge of Mivs Script, HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript
    • Proven graphic design experience
    • Experience with Group Mail mailings
    • Experience with Final Cut Pro desirable

    Personal Qualities

    • Be thorough and precise
    • Be able to work to strict deadlines
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills

    How much do you plan to pay this person? That is about 5 or more job titles/areas of expertise in todays day in age. The likelihood of finding an individual to fulfill all those areas and carry out the tasks correctly is unrealistic in my opinion. If you were to find such a person, they would be in high demand, requiring a pretty hefty salary if they were truly able to back it up. Just my advise, think you are better off engaging with a reputible agency/firm that already has a team of individuals with the skill sets, experience and expertise necessary to meet those requirements.

      Agreed. To do all of that right, you're looking at an Agency retainer of about $7000 a month.
