Dear Miva Developers -
We are looking for a developer capable of creating a module that offers an API Level link between our product databases on AirTable and Miva.
Essentially, we use AirTable to create new inventory listings and then use a tab-delimitated .txt flat-file system to manually upload these to Miva once a week. It works well, but it occurs to us that we can streamline this process by investing in a more direct API integration. The idea is a module that can be activated from either within Miva or AirTable, or both, that on a click, Exports data from our AirTable Export View and Imports it as new categories and/or products to Miva Merchant. The app would in this order
1. Import, update, and generate Specialized Categories from AirTabl.
2. Import New Products from AirTable.
3. For both imports, provide a report akin or better than the existing reporting generated by the build-in Miva flat file upload system.
4. Generate URIs for new categories/products on existing Formula.
I do not know if this module could simply tap into the existing Miva flat file import functions that we currently use or if it would need to be customized.
Similarly, it would be interesting if we could also do a revere sync back to AirTable that updates AirTable inventory records for each item based on Miva stock levels.
Please feel free to reach out with questions on this project via this system.
