Layout Template Question

I've been using the Base Ready Theme, which is based off of the bootstrap framework.. Is Iron and Wool also based off of Bootstrap? It seems similar but the syntax is different.. Is there a name for it, or documentation anywhere? Thanks!

Only Base, Retro, and Prepworx were based on Bootstrap. The rest of the legacy ReadyThemes were built upon the internal framework we used at the time. Unfortunately, there is no real documentation on it. The newest, and documented, framework is Elements with Shadows being the recommended ReadyTheme to use for all new site development.
